2d shapes in Mrs. Donegan's class

In Room 9, we are learning about 2d shapes in Maths. Did you know lots of shapes have 4 sides and 4 corners? We sorted our shapes in lots of different ways, made shape pictures, played shape games and much more! We learned new words like attributes, pentagon, hexagon, octagon, quadrilateral, edges and vertices. We played with tangrams and shape boxes and we made animals, characters and pictures with our shapes. It is so much fun being a mathematician.
