Happy New Year! Jan in Rm 6

 We're back to school and ready for 2026 and a new term! Look at all we've done,  just in the first month!

Creating growing and shrinking patterns in Algebra:

We learned about extreme weather, such as hurricanes, floods, drought and blizzards, and it's effect on people and our environment. We also looked at how weather is measured- here we are making our own rain gauges and wind vanes. 

We are going use these instruments to record the weather over a week in February- watch this space!

Here we are after our last swimming lesson at the complex- we learned lots of new skills from our instructors and made great progress over the 6 weeks, as well as having lots of fun!
